SEDGEFIELD BEER FESTIVAL 3rd and 4th July 2009

The annual beer festival will once again be held at 'Good Beer Guide' listedCeddesfeld Hall, Sedgefield.

Approx 17 ales will be offered, all priced at £2.20. The festival will take place, evenings only, on Friday and Saturday, 3rd and 4th July. Ceddesfeld Hall, a former rectory with its own resident ghost, is situated in beautiful grounds in the centre of Sedgefield, close to the Parish Church. The folllowing is the current proposed list of ales.
Harviestoun Brewery: Bitter and Twisted (3.8%); Schiehallion (4.8%)
Moorhouses: Blonde Witch (4.5%)
Mordue Brewery: Al Wheat Pet (4.1%); IPA (5.1%)
Hambleton Brewery: Black Dog Rhatas (4.6%); York’Shire Horse(4.0%)
Darwin Brewery: Natural Selection (5.0%); another? (4.1%)
Derwent Brewery: Parsons Pledge (4.0%)
Durham: Pickled Parson (4.5%); Golden Sceptre (3.9%)
Richmond Brewery: Station Ale (4.0%)
Captain Cook Brewery: Sunset (4.0%)
Consett Brewery: White Hot (4.5%)
Jarrow Brewery: Rivet Catcher (3.8%)
Hill Island Brewery: Dun Cow Bitter (4.2%)
In addition, the usual BBQ will also be held.

celebrating Yorkshire Day

Good Beer Guide listed, the Horseshoe Hotel, Egton Bridge is celebrating Yorkshire Day, on Saturday 1st August, with a beer festival throughout the weekend.

Yorkshire beers will be featured, as well as good food and good company.
